My Philosophy

I believe healing happens through remembrance- a return to relationship with ourselves and the deeper wisdom that moves within us, through our bodies, and through life.

Through my own journey and work with clients, I have learned that transformation cannot be forced or rushed. It unfolds as we slow down, listen deeply, and develop a more compassionate relationship with what is arising within us, allowing the process to evolve in its own rhythm and pace.

Over the years, I have come to trust the great potential we each hold for transformation. When we create space to listen and meet the symptoms and experiences arising within us with curiosity and compassion, our lives can begin to shift in ways we never imagined. As we reconnect with ourselves, we may also rediscover our connection with the world around us- with nature, with others, and with the larger flow of life. While every journey unfolds differently, I believe there is always space for greater connection, ease, flow, and possibility.

My Journey of Remembering

For over twenty years, I have been exploring and working with approaches that honor the connection between mind, body, and spirit. Alongside my formal training in Counseling Psychology and my own lifelong learning, I have studied with teachers, healers, and practitioners from many different traditions.

My work continues to be shaped by creativity, art, movement, nature, music, relationships, cultural exchange, and a deep curiosity about the mysteries of life.

But my most powerful teacher has been my own life.

For many years, I lived according to the pace and expectations of the world around me- caught in a culture of constant doing, striving, and pushing forward. Without realizing it, I slowly became disconnected from my own rhythm, my body, and the deeper parts of myself.

Eventually, the signals from my body became impossible to ignore. I experienced burnout and spent years navigating chronic physical symptoms that had no clear explanation.

My healing was not a quick fix. It became a gradual process of turning inward and listening more deeply, allowing greater presence and compassion to emerge along the way.

By beginning to see my symptoms as meaningful expressions of what was happening within me, I discovered a profoundly different relationship with myself. Over time, what emerged was not only greater ease within my body, but a more authentic and fulfilling way of living- in relationship with myself, others, and the world around me.

How I Meet You

My own journey deeply shapes how I work with others.

I understand how exhausting and disorienting it can be to live with persistent or chronic symptoms, unanswered questions, or experiences that are difficult to make sense of.

In our work together, I walk alongside you as a partner in exploration. We create a grounded and compassionate space where you can slow down, listen, and become curious about what your experiences may be inviting you to explore.

I honor your boundaries, your inner wisdom, and the unique rhythm of your process.

My Approach

My work is grounded in Process Work, a depth-oriented and transpersonal psychology developed by Arnold and Amy Mindell. At the heart of this approach is the idea that symptoms, dreams, emotions, body experiences, relationships, and life events may carry meaning. Rather than seeing them simply as problems to fix or overcome, we can become curious about what they may be expressing and inviting us to explore.

To support this exploration, I draw from several complementary approaches, each offering a different way of listening to and understanding our experience.

Somatic Integration & Embodiment

The body communicates through sensations, impulses, tensions, symptoms, and movement. By bringing gentle awareness to these experiences, we can begin to listen to what our bodies may be communicating and develop a more connected relationship with our embodied experience.

Parts Work & Depth Psychology

Drawing from Jungian psychology and Internal Family Systems (IFS), we explore the different parts and layers of our inner world with curiosity and compassion. Through inner parts, dreams, active imagination, symbols, and archetypal patterns, we can begin to understand aspects of ourselves that may be less familiar or conscious, bringing greater awareness and integration to our experience.

Expressive Arts

Sometimes our experiences cannot be fully expressed through words. Creativity can offer another way in. Through image-making, movement, writing, and symbolic exploration, we create space for experiences and inner knowing to emerge in their own way, opening new possibilities for awareness and expression.

Shamanic & Nature-Inspired Practices

Nature can offer another doorway into our inner and outer worlds. Through symbolism, active imagination, and connection with nature, we explore the relationship between our personal experience and the larger living world. These practices invite curiosity about meaning, mystery, interconnectedness, and our place within the greater whole.

Together, these approaches create a flexible and responsive process that honors your unique way of experiencing the world. Rather than following a fixed formula, we allow your own experience, wisdom, and natural rhythm to guide the journey.

Our Work Together

Here, we create a grounded and compassionate space to explore what is arising with curiosity, openness, and presence.

As we develop a different relationship with our experiences, new possibilities can begin to emerge. What once felt like an obstacle may begin to reveal something worth listening to, opening a path toward greater understanding, connection, and wholeness.

Our work is collaborative, relational, and respectful of your unique rhythm. Rather than forcing change, we trust the wisdom of your process and allow what is ready to emerge in its own time.

You Are Not Broken

A Different Way of Healing

Healing is not about fixing what is wrong or becoming someone else.

It is about remembering, reconnecting, and allowing what is ready to emerge within you to unfold in its own rhythm.
